Echo is the model that goes a step further than chlorination. It supports sensorless acid feed, which means it can manage pH dosing without a probe in the water and without a probe to calibrate, clean or replace. A doser kit is needed on top of the unit itself.

The cell is titanium with a ruthenium and iridium coating, sitting in a clear housing so you can see its condition at a glance, and it reverses polarity every four hours to shed scale automatically. All Seasons mode steps production back as the water cools rather than running summer output all year. For Australian pools that is the difference between a chlorinator you think about and one you do not.

The AstralPool Echo is a chlorinator that can take over your acid dosing as well.  Control runs through a touch screen on the unit or over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi from your phone, output adjusts in fine increments rather than coarse steps, and the cell self-cleans on a four hour cycle. Australian made, certified to AS/NZS 3136, and backed by four years on the power supply and three on the cell.
