About your water test
The results of your pool water test provide a clear snapshot of your pool’s current overall health, along with personalised recommendations to help balance your water safely and cost-effectively. Regular testing—especially during the warmer months—helps keep your pool crystal clear, protects your equipment, and ensures a safe, enjoyable swimming experience for your family.
How to get the best water sample for testing
• Collect approximately 500ml of water from arm’s length below the surface using a clean container, midway up the length of your pool
• Bring your sample instore within 1 hour and avoid leaving it in hot cars as the sample can be compromised in hot conditions or left over an extended period of time
Treating a green pool
If your pool has turned green, our team will guide you through the treatment steps with detailed instructions according to the size of your pool and what pool equipment you have i.e. sand or cartridge filter. Once the water has cleared, you simply return to our store for a full computerised test to get your pool balanced and ready to swim again.
Unlike other pool stores, we do not just tell you to put the required chemicals in your pool, we will troubleshoot with you as to why the pool turned green. We do this to help you avoid it happening again and again.
